The Japona Hookah Mummy Bowl is particularly easy to pack and therefore also ideal for beginners. Inside the tobacco depot you will find a lip for a hookah smoke box. Simply fill the hookah tobacco up to this height and place the smoke box in the notch provided and you're ready to go!
The notch for the smoke box in the Mummy Bowl has the advantage that the hookah smoke box sits securely in the head even if you accidentally pull slightly on the hose or bump the table on which the hookah is standing! This is not the case with most other bowls.
For the Japona Mummy Bowl Phunnel, you can use all common hookah smokebox models, i.e. all smokeboxes with a diameter of approx. 75mm. It doesn't matter whether you use an aluminium HMD or a stainless steel HMD. For beginners, however, we always recommend an aluminium smokebox, as these are easier to manage and do not get too hot as quickly as stainless steel models can. The most popular model is the ONMO HMD. Alternatives to this are the Kaloud Lotus or the AO HMD Sandblasted. If you are a bit more experienced and want a bit more heat for your tobacco bowl, you can also use a stainless steel smokebox. The most popular models here are the AO 912 HMD and the Na Grani model.
