The concept of MixTo is as simple as it is ingenious. You buy a can with 65g of flavored but dry tobacco, and if you want to smoke it in a hookah, you have to mix it with 135g of glycerin (approximately 110ml). According to the manufacturer, this gives it the perfect properties for your hookah.
At first glance, this may seem a bit cumbersome compared to ready-to-smoke tobacco, but the cost difference is enormous.
The preparation for the hookah should be done in just 30 seconds, and according to the manufacturer, the tobacco should be smokeable in just 10 minutes. However, if we want to be realistic, hookah tobacco is only really good when the molasses/glycerin has had the chance to fully penetrate the tobacco. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for a period of about 24 hours before consuming it.
In recent years, ready-to-smoke tobacco has become more expensive due to tax increases and smaller packaging sizes, and the price is now around 32-40 euros per 200g. You can distinguish between the two lines by the name of the flavor (Dark = variants with Burley tobacco) and by the color of the can (Dark = Black can).
