At first glance, it is not obvious how much work and development time went into the bowl and what quality this hookah bowlbrings with it. At first, the Popo seems like a small, clunky bowl, but when you take a closer look, clear differences become visible, especially in terms of quality compared to conventional bowls. The Hookain Popo is miles ahead of almost all other hookah bowls in the price category up to 30€, as it is the first bowl in this price range to be made from high-quality US Stoneware Clay. In comparison, the Sheeshaya Hyphen is also made from Stoneware Clay and costs 40€. Hookah bowls from other brands such as Stone Hookah start at 70€ and up.
The special thing about the clay, apart from its higher density, is the special manufacturing process. The clay has to be fired twice at a heat of approx. 1250°C. In the process, every pore in the clay, no matter how small, is closed. This has an effect on the weight and delays the typical "bleeding" of the hookah bowl. The beautiful appearance of the bowl remains longer and annoying leakage of molasses is almost prevented.
You can smoke the Hookain Phunnel Popo as a combination of phunnel and smokebox, but also in combination with hookahaluminium foil. Our recommendation is to combine it with a smokebox or HMD. You can also find these in our shop.
