The Na Grani - HMD is, as previously described, more for advanced hookah smokers and is made of stainless steel. This makes it behave differently than an aluminium smokebox. The stainless steel material gets significantly warmer than an aluminium HMD and the shisha head (phunnel or multi-hole head) or the shisha tobacco is also heated up more than with an aluminium HMD. The advantage is that with a little experience, you can get even more flavour and smoke out of your shisha tobacco than is possible with an aluminium HMD. However, you should know that you should be a little more experienced, as it is more difficult to correctly assess when you should take a coal out of the smoke box so that the tobacco in the shisha head does not become too hot. Because unlike aluminium, the head is hardly salvageable once the HMD gets too hot. The stainless steel material stores the heat longer and you can't cool it down to the right temperature for the tobacco in time. The advantage, however, is that with a little experience with the Na Grani Heat Management Device, you can tickle a little more flavour and smoke out of your shisha tobacco than is possible with an aluminium HMD.
Another advantage is that cleaning is much easier because of the material. Tobacco does not burn as firmly on stainless steel as it does on aluminium. With stainless steel smokeboxes, it is often enough to simply put the smokebox in water after smoking and simply take it out of the water again after a few hours or before the next hookah session and wipe it over.
