MixTo Dark Hookah Pipe Tobacco – What's so special about MixTo's Dry Base Tobacco?
MixTo Dark follows the same principle as Mixto. You buy a can containing 65 g of flavored, but dry hookah pipe tobacco. If you want to smoke this in a hookah, you must first mix it with 135 g of glycerin (about 110 ml). This gives the tobacco the perfect properties for your hookah.
NOTE: Mixing with 135 g of taxed glycerin would produce 200 g hookah tobacco. Production only with permission and in a tax warehouse and must be taxed immediately.
This might be a bit cumbersome compared to directly smoke-ready tobacco, however, the cost difference is enormous. And the effort in comparison is relatively low.
Waiting time after mixing the tobacco with glycerin
Preparing the pipe tobacco should be completed in just 30 seconds, and according to the manufacturer, it is smokeable after another 10 minutes. However, with a Burley tobacco mix, it makes sense to give the glycerin more time to penetrate the plant fibers. Probably, after at least 24 hours, the tobacco should have had enough time to steep.
It may be hard to believe, but MixTo has introduced a very potent Burley Mix hookah pipe tobacco with their MixTo Dark series, which will especially delight long-time Darkblend-Pur smokers. The strong nicotine kick and the intense flavor will thrill you.
NOTE: We initially advise Darkblend beginners to try Darkblends from other brands since most other tobacco flavors on the market have less nicotine. Even for a Darkblend, the MixTo Dark is quite strong.

We currently have five strong flavors of MixTo Dark in our lineup. Some of the flavors you can also find under the Virginia MixTo flavors.
Dark Nevada, Dark Havana, and Dark Grp Baba are particularly popular! Especially Dark Havana is very well received by our colleagues.
This does not mean that the other flavors are any less tasty, as tastes differ. Each Darkblend hookah pipe tobacco from MixTo tastes intensely fruity and is a real experience.
Our tip: Simply read through the individual flavor descriptions and choose what appeals to you the most. The quality of the tobacco itself is of a very high standard across all flavors.
Which bowl should be used to smoke MixTo?
Ultimately, it's up to you in which setup you enjoy the tobacco from MixTo. Generally, a multi-hole bowl is recommended for a Darkblend, but if you only have a Phunnel, there is absolutely nothing wrong with smoking the Burley in the Phunnel. We would definitely recommend a smokebox. In our opinion, the best choice is the ONMO, which has the best price/performance ratio.
