Genuine hookah tobacco without nicotine doesn't exist, because nicotine is a natural component of every tobacco plant. Anyone searching for nicotine-free tobacco is usually not looking for real tobacco at all, but for a tobacco-free alternative.

That's exactly what you'll find in our shop. These alternatives are based on a carrier material such as minerals or cellulose, enriched with glycerin and flavorings. Especially common are products in paste or vapor paste form, often called shisha paste or tobacco substitute.

Traditional tobacco smoking produces extra substances like tar and carbon monoxide through combustion. What Are Tobacco Substitute Products Made Of?

Traditional hookah tobacco consists of raw tobacco mixed with flavorings and glycerin, which evaporate when heated. However, unwanted substances are also created through combustion. Tobacco substitutes follow the same principle but eliminate tobacco entirely, using alternative carrier materials instead.

Steam stones used to be common too, a coarse granulate that stores flavors and releases them during smoking. They're no longer allowed in Germany. Vapor pastes, on the other hand, are spread directly into the bowl and produce dense, rich vapor. During use, the material is only heated, not burned, so the familiar ritual stays intact, just without any tobacco.
