Moze Exclusive Glass Drop - Frozen VI - Black Hookah GlassThe hookah bowl is the component from which the hookah gets its well-known name "hookah" - because it is the part into which the water is poured. Also called hookah glass or sometimes hookah vase, it is the foundation of the hookah.
The glass base is also one of the most important design elements and influences the look of the entire hookah. From minimalist design to simple elegance to extravagant shapes and special cuts - no matter which look appeals to you most, with the right bowl you can put your hookah in the best light.

In addition to the appearance, the hookah bowl of course also has an important function for smoking. Because the glass base- or rather, the water it contains - ensures that the hookah smoke cools down, which makes it less irritating and more pleasant to inhale.
How exactly does it work? Quite simply:
By the way, the hookah glass is the first part of your hookah to show traces of dirt. So it's best to clean your bowl after every session - as annoying as it may be sometimes. Regular cleaning is the only way to prevent bacteria from developing in the humid environment.
Do you want to buy a hookah glass, but you are not sure which one is right for you? First of all, you should know what kind of glass base you need.
Basically, there are two different types of hookah glasses: screw-on glassesand plug-in glasses. As the names of the two already suggest, they differ purely in how theupstem is attached to the glass:
Are you wondering which is the better option? We think: pure matter of taste!
In the past, the big advantage of screw-in bowls was that their threads looked classier and gave more grip than the seals of plug-in glass bases. This may have been true at one time, but it is now history - thanks to our Moze Perfect Fit Glass Sealings fits the Stem Set on the plug glass just as well.
In fact, plug-in glass bases offer you even more advantages:
The most important factor to consider when choosing your plug-in glass is the size. Because plug-in glasses come in two different sizes:
Small Plug-in Glass Bases are usually suitable for hookahs with a height of up to 45 cm including glass, anything over 45 cm height usually needs a larger hookah glass. When buying, however, be sure to pay attention to the length of the dip tube of your hookah. Because this is ultimately the decisive factor for which pipe fits on which glass.

The hookah glass base is the foundation of a water pipe and the part where water is filled. The glass base is also an important factor for the overall look of the water pipe and is available in various designs – from simple variants to high-quality Caesar crystal bases with special cuts.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question as it varies depending on the size of the glass base used. However, you should always fill enough water so that the downstem is submerged 2-3 cm deep. Be careful not to fill too much water, as this can make drawing difficult and might cause water to enter the hose.
Too little water in the hookah makes it difficult to cool the smoke, which can make smoking less pleasant. For the optimal hookah experience, the water level in your glass base should be high enough that the downstem is approximately 2-3 cm submerged.
Only water should be put in the hookah glass base to cool and filter the smoke. Other liquids like juice, milk, or tea are not only a waste of food but also change the flavor of the tobacco. However, there are color additives like Xschischa that can be used to color the water in the glass base without altering the taste.
It is generally recommended to change the water in the hookah glass base after each smoking session. Smoking accumulates deposits in the water that can affect the taste and contribute to bacterial growth.
To avoid deposits and the resulting unpleasant tastes and bacterial growth, you should clean your hookah's glass base after (or before) each session. This is the only way to fully enjoy the flavor of the tobacco. This applies regardless of whether you have a screw-on or plug-in glass base.
Yes, you can put ice cubes in your hookah glass base. The ice further cools the smoke, which is especially pleasant in the summer. However, you can achieve the same effect with less effort by using a cooling mouthpiece like the Ice Bazooka.
