With stral we made a long-held dream happen and built our own tobacco brand, offering exactly what we enjoy about smoking ourselves. Straightforward, aromatic enjoyment with a high standard of quality, ideal for beginners but just as convincing for old hands who appreciate intense, refreshing flavours.

We carry 12 stral flavours in the 200g tin. Six of them are also available in the small 50g tin to try.

Our vision of a tobacco that refreshes you while you smoke

We wanted a tobacco that smokes butter-smooth. No heavy, scratchy feeling in the throat, but so smooth and pleasant that it almost feels like enjoying a fresh soft drink. That is exactly what we achieved with stral.

The flavours are modern and intense. The thinking behind it was that a cherry tobacco should really taste of cherry, with the full flavour spectrum of the fruit, so every cherry fan gets their money's worth.

We also put a lot of care into being beginner-friendly. Beyond the gentle smoking experience, it mattered to us that packing a bowl is easy. A fine cut and the right moisture level are the be-all and end-all here, and if you have not packed many bowls yet, that works in your favour. Qualities like these make our stral hookah tobacco a perfect beginner hookah tobacco.

Made in Germany, produced at Socab

Our tobacco is made in one of the most modern production facilities in Germany, namely at Socab. Other very popular brands such as Al Massiva, Os Tobacco and Nameless are produced there too. For us it was settled from the start that we would only run our own brand at the highest level and with the best partners. Quality and transparency come first for us.

Our flavour philosophy is variety instead of one house note

Many brands rely on a single flavour house, we do not. We believe every flavour deserves the best aroma, no matter which producer it comes from. That is why we deliberately combined flavourings from different sources when developing stral, always aiming for the right balance and a real taste experience.

Our top seller is grayp kwi. It regularly lands in the top 3 of our sales charts, across all brands.

How do I pack the perfect bowl with stral tobacco?

stral is a light Virginia tobacco, so it needs less heat than a heavy dark blend. The fine cut and the moisture level make it easy to spread in the bowl, and the tobacco does not stick. Pack it loosely, don't press it, and the juicy side of the flavours comes through best. A phunnel or a multi-hole bowl work particularly well here.
