What ends up here changes all the time. So if you don't have to grab something right away, it pays to look in every few weeks, because new bowls keep coming in and others drop out.
- Reduced phunnels, traditional bowls and bowl bundles from the entire range
- B-stock has cosmetic flaws but works exactly like a bowl without a discount
- Clearance items are discontinued models and single colours we won't reorder
- Bowls that are already reduced cannot be combined with further discount codes
- The selection changes, and many items are only available in small quantities
What ends up in our bowl sale?
Three kinds of offers come together here. B-stock means bowls with a cosmetic flaw, such as a small bump in the glaze, a colour deviation or a dent on the rim. You can smoke them just as well as a bowl without a discount, they simply don't look quite perfect. Clearance items are discontinued models and single colours we won't reorder. Promotional stock is regular stock that we sell for less for a while.
With handmade clay bowls no two pieces are the same anyway. Small variations in colour and shape come with the material, and on B-stock they are simply a bit more visible. None of this affects how the bowl smokes.
Please note: Reduced items are excluded from further discount promotions. A voucher code therefore only applies to the products in your basket that are listed at the regular price.
Phunnel or traditional bowl?
Most of our sale bowls are phunnels, and traditional bowls keep showing up alongside them. The difference is in the base: a phunnel has a single spire in the middle, while a traditional bowl spreads several small holes across the surface.
| Phunnel | Traditional bowl | |
|---|---|---|
| Molasses | stays in the chamber | tends to run into the smoke path |
| Session length | longer, the tobacco dries out more slowly | shorter, but up to temperature quickly |
| Flavour | consistent across the session | intense start, more nicotine in the draw |
| Suits | almost every tobacco, a good all-rounder | strong blends / dark blend |
If you don't want to commit: the phunnel is the best choice and copes with pretty much any tobacco. You go for a traditional bowl when you deliberately want more punch out of a strong blend, or when you want to vary your flavour experience, because a traditional bowl emphasises different notes than a phunnel does.
Nothing here that suits you? You will find plenty more phunnels and traditional bowls on our category pages:
Which brands are in the sale?
Which manufacturers are in right now depends on what we have reduced. You will regularly find these among them:
- Moze: our own bowls, including the Epos phunnel, often as B-stock with small glaze flaws
- Oblako: Russian workshop known for cleanly finished phunnels in a wide range of glazes
- Kong: makes both phunnels and classic traditional bowls
- Werkbund, Glina and Kolos Tang: handmade clay bowls with thick walls
- AEON, ATH, Luna, Moon and Kalifa: the range of shapes and colours, often reduced in single leftover colours
Because most brands only have single colours or sizes reduced, the filter in the product list gets you further than scrolling through everything.
Still not sure which bowl suits you?
A bowl has to match how you like to smoke, not just your budget. How much tobacco do you want to pack, how long should a session run, do you smoke with or without a smokebox? You will find the full range beyond the sale offers under All hookah bowls, and if tobacco consumption is your main concern, take a look at the economical hookah bowls.

The right accessories for your new bowl
A bowl on its own isn't enough. A grommet belongs between the bowl and the stem, otherwise your hookah pulls in false air. Then there is heat management: a smokebox lets you control the charcoal far more precisely than aluminium foil, and for packing itself there are mats, phunnel plugs and tongs that keep the mess in check.
What you need around it:
Tip: If you like a bowl that is only reduced in one colour left, don't wait too long. We don't restock clearance items and B-stock, because those articles no longer exist in that form. Everything else from the range is still available in the hookah sale.
FAQ: bowls in the sale
Which bowls will I find in the sale?
Mostly phunnels, plus classic traditional bowls and now and then a bowl bundle with a smokebox. That includes B-stock, clearance items from discontinued series and regular articles we sell for less for a while. What is in there right now is shown in the product list, because the selection changes regularly.
What does B-stock mean for a hookah bowl?
B-stock means bowls with a cosmetic flaw, for example a small bump in the glaze, a colour deviation or a dent on the rim. The function is not affected, the bowl smokes just like a flawless one. That is why we sell it for less.
Is a B-stock bowl really worth it?
If looks are not your top priority, yes. You get the same smoking performance and the same workmanship inside for less money. With handmade clay bowls small variations are normal anyway, on B-stock they are just a little more noticeable.
Phunnel or traditional bowl, which is better?
The phunnel is the better all-rounder. The molasses stays in the chamber, the tobacco lasts longer and the flavour stays consistent across the session. A traditional bowl comes up to temperature faster and puts more nicotine in the draw, so it suits strong blends and dark blend.
Does every bowl fit my hookah?
In principle yes, as long as the right grommet sits in between. Bowls have a standardised stem diameter and the grommet evens out small differences. Pay more attention to capacity: a large bowl needs more tobacco and more charcoal than a small one.
Do I need any other accessories for the bowl?
You should definitely have a bowl grommet, otherwise your hookah pulls in false air. A smokebox is also worth it, because it lets you control the heat more precisely than aluminium foil. A packing mat, a phunnel plug and tongs are comfort, not a must.
Can I combine a sale bowl with a discount code?
No. Items that are already reduced are excluded from further discount promotions. A code only applies to the products in your basket that are listed at the regular price.
Do sold out sale bowls get restocked?
B-stock and clearance items don't, those are only available while stocks last. Regular articles that are currently reduced as promotional stock do come back, but then at the normal price.
