As a customer of the Moze Online Shop, we inform you in accordance with the German Battery Act (Batteriegesetz) about the proper disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries in connection with the sale of e-cigarettes. It is important that you dispose of your used batteries and rechargeable batteries in compliance with legal regulations at a municipal collection point or via local retail return systems. Disposal via household waste is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of the Battery Act.
We accept batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge, provided they are returned in standard end-consumer quantities. Please send the batteries or rechargeable batteries to us with sufficient postage. We will reimburse you for the shipping costs incurred.
Returns of batteries and rechargeable batteries should be sent to the following address:
Moze GmbH

Germany
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. The symbol is also labeled with the chemical designation of the respective hazardous substance. Examples include (Pb) for lead, (Cd) for cadmium, and (Hg) for mercury. This information can also be found in the accompanying documentation of the product delivery or in the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
Please note that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Further information on disposal options and the Battery Act can be found at www.grs-batterien.de or on the websites of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
The disposal of electrical and electronic equipment is governed by the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste, but must be collected separately through designated collection and return systems to ensure proper recycling.
Before disposing of any waste equipment, please remove any used batteries or rechargeable batteries from the device. Free return of waste electrical and electronic equipment is possible at collection points operated by public waste management authorities or at return points set up by manufacturers or retailers.
Retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m² for electrical and electronic equipment, as well as grocery stores with a total sales area of at least 800 m², are legally obligated to accept waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Please also note that waste equipment often contains personal data. Each end user is responsible for deleting any personal data before disposal. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on electrical and electronic equipment indicates that the device must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
We recommend that you pay attention to this symbol and dispose of waste equipment in accordance with the requirements of the ElektroG. Further information is available on the relevant websites or from the responsible authorities. The Moze Online Shop is committed to providing you with the best possible service and supporting you in the proper disposal of batteries as well as electrical and electronic equipment. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
