In recent years, more and more German rappers have released their own tobacco brands, making their favorite flavors available to their fans! In this article, we explore which German rappers have released their own hookah tobacco. We have also created a Rapper Hookah Tobacco List, which includes all currently available and discontinued rapper tobacco varieties.
Rappers have many fans in the young adult age group, a significant portion of whom regularly smoke hookah. The target audience for their music strongly overlaps with the target audience for hookah tobacco. Among the hookah tobacco brands marketed under the names of German rappers, Babos Tobacco by Haftbefehl is likely the highest quality. The tobacco is produced by Vandenberg, known for its premium tobacco quality.
For several years, Vandenberg has been producing tobacco for the German rapper Haftbefehl, alongside their own brands Kismet, Odinson, and Xracher. The most famous variety is FFM, named after the rapper's hometown. The tobacco varieties are as follows:

The newest rapper tobacco is from the brand ByCandy, marketed by the German rapper Zuna! At the end of 2021, Zuna released the tobacco at a big launch party, and one variety, in particular, has since become a staple on the German market. This variety is called SW (formerly: Sour Worms), which tastes like sour gummy worms in grape and strawberry flavors.

Hasso was first released in 2016 and caused a real hype because the tobacco was of very high quality at the time. As a result, the rapper tobacco sold extremely well, prompting many other German rappers to follow suit and develop and release their own varieties with tobacco producers. By the way: The Hasso you find today is not the same as it was at the beginning. The production has changed, and unfortunately, we’ve heard from many customers that the tobacco doesn’t taste as good as it used to since the switch!
