I am very satisfied
The selection of tobacco is great, especially with brands that you can’t find in other stores! Excellent purchase process, super-fast shipping. I can only recommend it.

Blackburn tobacco originally comes from Russia and has been one of the established names in the scene there for years. Since mid-2022, Blackburn hookah tobacco has also been exported to Germany. The brand’s flavors range from classics like apple, cherry, and grape all the way to more unusual varieties like chocolate or green tea. The base tobacco used for all Blackburn flavors is Burley. That means it has a higher nicotine content than Virginia tobacco. If you’re new to hookah, you should only use Blackburn for mixing at first if you want to try it.
Blackburn currently offers 30 flavors in the German range. We carry all Blackburn flavors for you, so you can soon enjoy your favorite in your hookah. The selection ranges from sour pineapple to berry sorbet with grapefruit, all the way to herbal candies.
In general, Blackburn hookah tobacco flavors can be divided into three groups: classic fruity hookah tobacco flavors, creamy flavors, and the Shok series. The Blackburn Shok series includes several sour hookah tobacco flavors and is definitely worth a try.
The price is €4.99 per tin, including VAT. That’s in line with the average price of dark blend tobacco on the German hookah market. A tin with 25 grams is enough for one to two hookah sessions, depending on which hookah bowl you use.
Blackburn likes to take new paths when developing its tobacco flavors. For example, the Russian hookah tobacco brand develops new flavors together with well-known bloggers. This is how the bestseller flavors Chuper Grupper and Kiwi Stoner were created. The manufacturer keeps supplying us with unusual and special tobacco flavors again and again.
Here’s a complete list of all Blackburn flavors currently available from us:
We have tested all of these hookah tobacco flavors ourselves and think the aromas taste very authentic and not artificial. In our opinion, that’s exactly what makes Blackburn one of the top brands in the dark blend segment.
In the end, it’s all a matter of taste. But we can tell you which Blackburn flavors sell the most in our shop. That should be a good indicator of how good the tobacco is—because only if the taste is truly good will it be ordered again and again.
Especially with the following Blackburn flavors, it regularly happens that our customers order several tins at once.
This Blackburn flavor will definitely quench your thirst—because it tastes like a delicious grape lemonade. The tobacco has an incomparable sweetness that can’t be compared to the sweet taste of other grape tobaccos. You simply have to try Blackburn Chuper Grupper yourself to understand what we mean.
Kiwi Stoner is an interesting Blackburn flavor that tastes like a sweet-and-sour kiwi, or rather a kiwi smoothie. Especially in summer, this flavor is a perfect match thanks to its refreshing taste. Same here: just give it a try!
Green tea as hookah tobacco? Yes, we admit it sounds unusual at first. However, this tobacco is perfect for combining with other Blackburn flavors. Our favorites are mixes with Blackburn Lemn Swits, Blackburn Raserry, or Blackburn Shok Apl.
Either way: With Blackburn, you generally can’t go too wrong. If you like the flavor profile a tobacco is supposed to taste like in food, chances are you’ll like Blackburn hookah tobacco as well. Blackburn’s aromas are mostly very natural and authentic.
The Blackburn Shok flavors are the ones our Moze Shisha team celebrates the most, because these are tobaccos with a distinctly sour note that we hadn’t tasted like this in any other tobacco before. That’s what makes the Shok line so special. If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying these flavors yet, you absolutely should—especially if you’re into sour profiles.
As the “Black” in the name already suggests, Blackburn hookah tobacco is based on dark Burley base tobacco.
If you’re still a hookah beginner, you should avoid buying Blackburn for now until you’ve gotten used to the nicotine in hookah tobacco a bit. Burley has a significantly higher nicotine content than Virginia tobacco, which most other hookah tobacco brands are based on.
Because Burley is a bit more robust, the flavors come through very well and therefore feel more natural than they would with Virginia tobacco. Since Virginia is much lighter and sweeter, sweet flavors on Virginia can often come across as artificial.
If you’re looking for the perfect bowl for your Blackburn sessions, you should choose a hookah bowl that is smoked with a smokebox. In Germany, this tobacco is often smoked with a phunnel and a smokebox, while in Russia a traditional bowl is common. So both types of hookah bowls work well.
If you prefer phunnel bowls, we recommend the Moze Epos V2, the Amotion Dot, or a Hookain phunnel made from stoneware clay. Great options here are the Hookain Popo and the Hookain Low Load.
If you want to use a traditional bowl, we recommend taking a look at bowls from Cosmo Bowl, Voskurimsya, and UPG. These are widely used in Russia, Blackburn’s home market, and are among the most common choices for smoking Blackburn tobacco.
If we’ve made you curious to try Blackburn, you can easily order it online from us. Thanks to our fast shipping, it will be with you within 1–2 business days, so you can enjoy your hookah.
If you have any questions, you can contact our customer service anytime by email at info@mozeshisha.de or via WhatsApp at +49 178 1883338. We’ll definitely be able to help you!

Yes. All Blackburn flavors are based on dark Burley base tobacco. Burley has a higher nicotine content than Virginia, which is why Blackburn is especially interesting for more experienced smokers. If you’re a beginner, you should use Blackburn for mixing at first.
The price is €4.99 per 25g tin (including VAT). A 25g tin usually lasts for one to two hookah sessions—depending on which bowl you use and how efficiently you pack.
Some of the top sellers include Chuper Grupper (grape lemonade / grape lollipop), Kiwi Stoner (sweet-and-sour kiwi / kiwi smoothie), and Original Green T (green tea). These flavors in particular are often ordered in multiple tins at once.
For Blackburn, we recommend a phunnel with a smokebox, as this usually delivers the best balance of flavor and performance in Germany. In Russia, Blackburn is often smoked in a traditional bowl—both setups work well. If you prefer phunnels, options like the Moze Epos V2, Amotion Dot, or a Hookain phunnel (e.g., Popo or Low Load) are a great fit. For traditional bowls, Cosmo Bowl, Voskurimsya, or UPG are common choices.
