Moritz is the founder of Moze and the creative mind behind all our products. With his passion for innovation and design, he continuously drives new ideas and actively shapes the hookah scene. In the Shisha Knowledge section, Moritz shares his know-how on product development, materials, and trends – straight from the source.
His enthusiasm for hookahs began back in 2015, and since then he regularly enjoys a good smoke. Moritz prefers Russian dark blend tobacco in classic traditional bowls, ideally paired with an ONMO HMD on an AMOTION FUTR. His favorite tobacco brands include: Must H, Blackburn and Darkside Tobacco.

Moritz began developing hookah products in 2018, when he came up with an idea for a product that didn’t yet exist on the market. He launched Moze while studying industrial engineering. After his first successful product, many more hookah-related ideas followed, which he brought to life with great dedication.

In just the second year after its founding, Moze was awarded Start-Up of the Year by the Shisha Fair thanks to its many technical innovations and unique designs.

In addition to his work at Moze, Moritz is a well-established figure in the scene. He is often featured in videos and livestreams of Germany’s most well-known hookah bloggers and has even served on the jury of the HookahBattle Europe at the Shisha Fair.
