You cannot light the charcoal without a hookah charcoal burner. Although it can be used with some kitchen stove models, there is a risk of damaging the stove. It's better to invest around 20 euros in a charcoal burner than foot the bill for a new kitchen stove. And in the worst case scenario, you'll get in trouble with your mother/ladyfriend/partner if you try it on the stove!
How to light hookah charcoal properly

There are different types of charcoal burners, including those that use gas to ignite the charcoal and others that use an electric heating coil to ignite the charcoal. You can find all the necessary information and the products themselves in the charcoal burner category!

To move the glowing hookah charcoal from the lighter to the bowl, we recommend using hookah charcoal tongs. You can make do with other tools such as two forks or homemade tongs made from aluminum foil if you have lost your tongs or forgotten to take them with you, but this doesn't work very well.
You can only get a firm hold on the charcoal with charcoal tongs. There are many different designs, which you can take a closer look at in the hookah charcoal tongs category.
Don't worry about the bowl - unless you can smoke it! Joking aside, the hookah bowl is also a must-have for smoking your hookah. Here, too, there are many different variants.
