Porcelain is considered a particularly noble material. Especially in heavy industry, porcelain has been used for ages due to its exceptional insulation properties. This means it is much more resistant to cold and heat than other materials and can therefore withstand very high temperatures as well as retain them over a long period. This ensures that the tobacco in the bowl is evenly dried from all sides. This effect can also enhance flavors like menthol/cooling notes in a tobacco more than other bowls might, allowing you to discover new aspects of your favorite tobacco. Menthol
Another outstanding feature is that porcelain, due to its material properties, is absolutely insensitive to contaminants of any kind. Bleeding, as known from other bowls, is simply not possible. The sealed surface also ensures that this bowl is dishwasher safe and does not absorb any flavors.
In addition to its phenomenal heat properties, Cassiopeia is also an extremely economical bowl. It only needs about 8-10 g of tobacco if built with a slight gap. Direct comparisons have shown that with this amount of tobacco, you can achieve almost the same length of a hookah session as with other bowls that require more than double the amount of tobacco.
Cassiopeia is produced in Bavaria, in one of the most renowned German production facilities for German porcelain, where it is made to the highest production standards. Cassiopeia was designed to be suitable for almost all HMDs.
