ONMO HMD Stainless Steel Flat Hookah Smokebox

The ONMO HMD made of stainless steel is the answer to a major request from our community. After around three years of development, ONMO now fulfills this wish and brings the popular smokebox to the market in two stainless steel versions.

The Flat version deliberately does without the iconic bar design on the underside of the ONMO. Depending on the packing style, this is intended to make it harder for the tobacco to burn in specific spots.

Stainless steel stores and conducts heat differently than aluminum. As a result, the HMD becomes overall hotter, which is particularly interesting for tobacco with a high molasses content. At the same time, the increased heat also requires more attention to avoid burning the tobacco.

Thanks to the use of stainless steel, a practical feature has been added to the new ONMO: the base is screwable. With the upcoming ONMO Steel Kits, you can use different base plates and customize your setup individually to your tobacco and your bowl build. Additionally, cleaning becomes significantly easier.

Note: If you are not used to a stainless steel smokebox, experiment with the arrangement and amount of coal in your HMD and adjust it more frequently to avoid burning your tobacco.
Do not preheat the smokebox on a charcoal burner.
Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
