Kong: two shapes, handmade in Russia
Kong is one of the few brands we carry that does both shapes. The Razor is a traditional bowl, the Space a phunnel. Both are made by hand in Russia.
One thing stands out on price: the Space costs €14.99 and the Razor €29.99, even though the Space has the larger depot. That is not down to the material but to the surface. On the Razor every bowl is reworked after glazing, and that step costs.

Kong Razor: the traditional bowl
The Razor holds 15 to 20 grams and runs for about an hour on that. Height approx. 10 to 11 cm, outer diameter approx. 7.5 cm, depot depth approx. 1.6 cm. For a traditional bowl that makes the depot relatively deep.
The real point is the surface. The bowl is not simply glazed but additionally given fine incisions. Those grooves are then picked out in colour, which creates a contrast between clay and glaze. Available in Black, Blue and Bubble.
Kong Space: the phunnel
The Space is the bigger of the two. A 20 to 25 gram depot, and in a full-contact setup up to around 28 grams go in. That gets you about 90 minutes.
At around 280 grams and 12.5 cm tall it is a heavyweight. That comes from the thick-walled build, which is also why it stores heat well and gives it off evenly across the whole session. The wide depot rim means common smokeboxes sit securely. The glaze is three-tone, with brush strokes and paint spatters, available as Dracula Black.
Tip: if you are torn between the two, go by the blend. Strong dark blend packs better in the Razor, while anything with plenty of molasses runs more pleasantly in the Space, because it stays in the depot there.

Which tobacco suits them?
As a traditional bowl the Razor is the obvious choice for strong dark blend tobacco. The Space handles everything, including wet hookah tobacco, because the molasses stays in the depot.
Which attachment fits?
Any common smokebox on both. On the Space the wide depot rim helps, and on the Razor the same applies as to any traditional bowl: the box may overhang, the slots have to sit over the depot. Aluminium foil works on both.
Please note: because they are handmade, shape, glaze and colour gradient can differ slightly from the product photo. Bleeding cannot be entirely prevented on clay bowls and is not grounds for a complaint.
