What does the DEUS Yzu tobacco taste like?

Yzu tastes of yuzu, an East Asian citrus fruit that came about as a natural cross between mandarin and Chinese lemon. The aroma is more sour and tart than an ordinary lemon and brings a floral note along with it. On top comes a spicy base note contributed by the burley, which gives the citrus fruit more depth. A good choice if you like things sour.

What goes into DEUS tobacco?

DEUS is made exclusively from burley leaves, grown and harvested by hand in Tuscany. No additives such as liquid nicotine go into production, all of the nicotine comes from the tobacco leaf alone. That keeps the smoke smooth despite the strength, and the effect sets in slowly. Nicotine strength sits at roughly Must H level. Yzu is therefore not one for beginners. The cut sits in the medium to fine range, and the amount of molasses is matched to the texture of the leaves, so barely anything settles at the bottom of the tin. DEUS works in phunnels as well as in multi-hole bowls and performs best with high heat, built with some distance to the rim. Use an HMD and make sure the tobacco does not get too hot, otherwise you will lose flavor. The tobacco is produced in Russia with flavors from the EU.
