shii Battery L in Ink Black: extension battery with significantly more capacity

With 76.59 Wh, the shii Battery L has around 50 % more capacity than the original battery included with the shii. That gives you plenty of reserve for long evenings and back-to-back sessions. You can use it as your main battery or take it along as a second battery to finish a session you've already started if the first battery runs out. Just make sure you swap it within three minutes of it running out. The shii warns you in good time when it's getting low, so it won't catch you by surprise.

At home, you can also run the shii directly from the mains via USB-C, as long as your battery has at least 15 % charge. With USB-C Power Delivery, the battery is quickly back to full, and a press of the charge level button shows you how much juice is left.

The Battery L also comes along when you travel. It stays below the 100 Wh limit that airlines set for batteries in carry-on luggage, so your shii can fly with you. You can recognise the Battery L by the L marking on the back.

Compatibility

The Battery L in Ink Black is colour-matched to the shii in Ink Black. Technically, however, it is identical to the Silk Gray version and fits the shii in Silk Gray just as well (model SHC-SS098). So you can mix and match the colours freely. The Battery L is charged and inserted in exactly the same way as the Battery S.

Important before first use

The battery is software-locked for transport. To unlock it, simply connect a charger to the USB-C port for about 5 seconds, and it's ready to use.
