Each individual bowl is made by hand from selected red clay from the Ural Mountains. The six holes in the bowl, which are specific to Cosmo, are designed to ensure both optimum air circulation and even heating of the tobacco.

In addition, the pores of the clay are sealed using a special milk firing process. As a result, the molasses cannot penetrate the bowl and the likelihood of a bowl starting to bleed is very low.
