Stainless steel hookah
Durable, hygienic and with a look that goes with almost any design. You do little wrong with a stainless steel hookah, because compared with aluminium, stainless steel is tougher and pleasantly easy to care for. In our range you will find models made entirely from it, or with stainless steel in all the places that matter.
- Stainless steel hookah means the smoke column is made of stainless steel
- V2A stainless steel does not rust, resists odours and is easy to clean
- Aluminium is cheaper, but picks up scratches, dents and discolouration faster
- Some smoke columns are additionally clad in POM and epoxy resin
- Every Moze hookah has V2A stainless steel in it
What your hookah is made of
Hookahs are built from several materials, usually glass, plastic and either aluminium or stainless steel. Every part has different demands:
- The glasses are usually made of glass.
- Plastic is used for the hose and for small parts such as grommets.
- The smoke column, meaning the body of the hookah, is mostly stainless steel or aluminium.
So when we talk about a stainless steel hookah, we mean the material of the smoke column.
Good to know: alongside smoke columns made entirely of stainless steel there are versions clad in POM and epoxy resin. That gives the hookah a look of its own and feels good in the hand.
The advantages of a stainless steel hookah
Many older water pipes were made from chrome-plated brass or chrome-plated steel. Surfaces like that build up deposits over time that are hard to remove. It looks unpleasant and it makes screwing the threads together harder. Today stainless steel and aluminium are the standard, because both last far longer.
Stainless steel brings a few properties that make your hookah routine easier:
- Rust-free: water and moisture do nothing to the material.
- Easy to clean: hardly any residue clings to the smooth surface.
- Odour-resistant: with regular care the flavour of your hookah tobacco comes through unaltered.
- Premium feel: the weight and the polished surface make it obvious what you are holding.
Why is aluminium cheaper than stainless steel? Aluminium is softer and picks up scratches and dents more easily. Stainless steel takes more, keeps its looks for longer and discolours more slowly.
