SAYes hookah tobacco: medium-strength dark blend from Germany

SAYes is a dark blend from Germany. It is the same tobacco that was previously produced under the name Musthave Germany and that you used to find in our shop as Musthave.

The new name doesn't change anything fundamental about the tobacco. SAYes is still a smooth dark blend hookah tobacco on a burley base, with medium strength. What's new are the flavor names and the tin: SAYes comes in a 100g tin, and you'll recognize some of the names right away, such as Pinkman, Straw or Kiv Smooth.

What makes SAYes tobacco special?

According to the manufacturer, the leaves for SAYes are gently toasted. Toasting is meant to deepen the flavors and reduce bitterness. Many of the flavors used in SAYes are very subtle, for example Spayz with mango, passion fruit, lychee and rose, or Eldery Ti with elderflower. These subtle floral nuances in particular benefit from the toasting.

On top of that you get what Musthave was already known for: the flavors go a long way, hold their taste through the whole session and produce dense smoke. If you like the flavor profiles of Russian tobacco but want less punch than MUST H, SAYes is a good fit.

How strong is SAYes?

In our Dark Blend Guide, SAYes (back then still listed as Musthave Germany) sits with the medium dark blends, next to 187 Strassenbande Dark, Jent and Odinson. It's noticeably stronger than Virginia tobacco, but after a short adjustment it's easy to smoke on its own. MUST H, on the other hand, is in our very strong category, so there's a clear gap between the two.

If you're coming straight from Virginia, start with about 10% SAYes in your bowl and raise the share from session to session. That way you get used to the higher nicotine level without a nicotine rush spoiling your evening.

Which SAYes flavors does Moze offer?

We're starting with 12 SAYes flavors. The lineup started out as a copy of Musthave and is now developing in its own direction under the new name. You'll know classics like Pinkman or Spayz from the Russian original, and on top of that there are flavors of its own that you rarely see in a dark blend, like basil with lemon or a gin and tonic with juniper. If you already know Musthave, you'll probably reach for Pinkman first: under its old name it was one of our top sellers.

SAYes in the 100g tin

SAYes comes in 100g tins. The upside is that you can work your way through several flavors more cheaply and efficiently to find your favorite.

How do you pack the perfect bowl with SAYes?

SAYes is based on burley tobacco. It handles more heat than bright Virginia, but it's also less sweet. Fill the tobacco loosely into your bowl and don't press it down. Start with a little less heat and build up slowly, so the flavor opens up without the tobacco burning.

In a hookah phunnel the smoke turns soft and round. Pack it into one of our hookah multi-hole bowls and SAYes comes through more intense and a bit stronger. If the strength is too much at first, press the tobacco down slightly and it smokes milder.
