What sets the Low Lip apart
The glaze catches your eye first. Because these are made by hand and every glaze turns out slightly differently, no bowl looks exactly like the next.
The real point, though, is the depot. It is small enough that a 25 g pack of hookah tobacco gives you three bowls on paper.

With light contact to the smokebox pins the depot takes 8 g. Pack it with a gap and 6 g is enough for a good session. It varies a little by variety: with fine, moist dark blend the maximum is around 12 g, with virginia you hit the limit at 10 g.

In Spain, by hand, like every Hookain stoneware bowl. The material is black stoneware clay. It spreads the heat evenly, lasts a long time and stands up well to bleeding.
