I ordered tobacco and paste
I ordered the new tobacco from Stral, and it’s my favorite so far – really good. Thanks to the Moze Summer Festival, I also discovered the Hookahsqueeze Shisha Paste, which I’ve been using for all my bowls ever since. I’ll definitely continue ordering from Moze.

You shouldn’t leave the choice of your tobacco to chance. To consume responsibly, it’s important to know your own limits. Smoking strong tobacco without prior experience can lead to unpleasant nicotine shocks – and that’s nothing to mess around with. Here are a few basic rules of thumb:
The raw tobacco used has a massive influence on the flavor of your hookah tobacco. Depending on the tobacco base, aromas can develop completely differently. Virginia and Burley differ significantly in strength, taste, and origin.

Usually around 12–25 g, but the required amount depends on several factors such as bowl type, cut, and molasses content – the size of the bowl’s depot also plays a major role. The XKAH Pro is particularly efficient and only needs around 9 to 12 g per session.
High-quality hookah tobacco is characterized by an even cut and consistent moisture. It doesn’t matter whether the cut is fine or coarse – what’s important is that it’s uniform. The tobacco should appear glossy and moist, feel soft and smooth, but not be submerged in excess molasses. This ensures intense flavor and thick smoke.
Also make sure that the tobacco is as free as possible from twigs or large stems. This indicates clean processing and prevents uneven burning. If the molasses is well absorbed into the leaves and the tobacco smells pleasant, you’ve got a high-quality product.
Hookah tobacco mainly consists of four components: tobacco leaves, molasses, glycerin, and flavorings. The molasses makes up the largest part of the weight – it provides moisture and creates the smoke. The molasses itself mainly consists of glycerin, which acts as a humectant.

Unopened hookah tobacco usually lasts between one and two years. Once opened, the shelf life depends heavily on storage conditions. If stored in a cool, dark, and airtight container, the tobacco will generally stay fresh for six to twelve months. Under poor conditions – such as exposure to heat or air – quality can deteriorate within just a few weeks.

Yes, hookah tobacco can be harmful and is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. When smoking, harmful substances such as nicotine, tar, and other carcinogens are released. In addition, heating the charcoal produces carbon monoxide, which can be dangerous when inhaled. If you want to avoid that, there are modern electric systems like the XKAH that work without charcoal and therefore do not release carbon monoxide. Switching to nicotine-free tobacco alternatives can also help reduce health risks.

How harmful is hookah smoking?
The nicotine content varies depending on the type and ranges from about 0.05–4%. That may sound low, but hookah sessions typically last much longer than smoking a cigarette – meaning you actually absorb more nicotine overall than from a single cigarette.

No, the shipping of tobacco products is legally restricted. We are only allowed to sell and ship hookah tobacco within Germany and exclusively to customers over the age of 18. Orders from abroad therefore cannot be processed.
The price of hookah tobacco is primarily determined by the high tobacco taxes imposed by the government. In addition, production, packaging, and transportation costs directly affect the final price.
Another reason is legal price regulation: tobacco products in Germany cannot be discounted or sold at reduced prices. That’s why you won’t find tobacco discounts even during sales.
